That’s why we’re excited to be collaborating with Professor Maryam Tanha and her brilliant students at Northeastern University Vancouver on a research capstone project focused on enhancing file upload protections within the VHT.ai platform.
📁 This project is helping us explore advanced strategies to strengthen our already secure, HIPAA-compliant environment — ensuring safe handling of sensitive uploads like referral forms, lab results, scans, and more.
Key focus areas include:
-Prototyping a robust malware and ransomware detection framework
-Automating mitigation and event reporting
-Ensuring files are validated for correct type and clinical context
-Exploring trade-offs in detection accuracy, processing speed, and operational efficiency
